NOTICE IS GIVEN that we are applying to the Consistory Court
of the diocese for permission to carry out the following:
Works to the church clock comprising repair of the escapement,
replacement of the existing auto-wind system with a three train AW11
auto-wind system, provision of pendulum regulator and controller, and
installation of one power socket. Any removed parts to be retained on site.
All in accordance with:
1. Updated quotation and description of works of Smith of Derby dated 1
April 2020
2. Quotation and description of works for escapement repair of Smith of
Derby dated 9 July 2020
3. Quotation and description of works for installation of pendulum
regulator of Smith of Derby dated 11 January 2021
4. Product data for pendulum regulator of Smith of Derby attached to email
of Sue Heap dated 5 February 2021
5. Quotation of AC Electrical dated 11 February 2021
6. Email of Sue Heap dated 24 February 2021 with attached photographs of
the clock and similar type of clock
Copies of the relevant plans and documents may be examined at
St Mary's Churchgate Stockport when open
(If changes
to a church are proposed, a copy of the petition and of any designs, plans,
photographs and other documents that were submitted with it must be
displayed in the church or at another place where they may be conveniently
inspected by the public and if the petition is submitted through an online
system, those documents must also be publicly available for inspection
online.)
