Prayer service at The Coptic Orthodox Church, Heaton Moor Road, Stockport, SK4 4PB

Who is coming?

We are pleased to have confirmations from the Mayor and Mayoress of Stockport, the Bishops of Stockport and of Salford.

Hopefully many from all churches within Stockport will attend.

In the week of Christian Unity it is so important to really make strenuous efforts to join with so many others in a large community within Stockport which is less well known.

I am emailing you in particular to ask you to encourage members of the Methodist Church to attend.

We will unite with Christians from all different traditions in Greater Manchester to praise Jesus for our unity with Christians around the world, and particularly with those in Egypt and other Islamic dominated societies.

Prayers for will be offered in several languages with the service and hymns in English.

I realise that this month is perhaps the busiest for Ministers and their congregations but nevertheless hope that this important Service in January will be advertised in the Church.
